Educational Video: Fergal Lynch

In this section

The BHA has recently launched their own integrity education video featuring Jockey Fergal Lynch who was involved in a corruption case related to an incident in 2004 which eventually saw him being banned from riding in Great Britain. He would not return to be a licensed British Jockey until 2015.

In this video, Fergal talks candidly about his experiences of being caught up in horseracing corruption, the mistakes he made, what it cost him, the lessons he has learned and his advice to others who find themselves in a similar situation.

The video also features practical advice and guidance from Adam Brickell, the BHA's Director of Integrity, Legal and Risk, on the steps participants can take to protect themselves against becoming involved in the corruption, and the help that is available.
